Annual Rabies Vaccination Drive

The Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association teams annually with partners in Jefferson and Orleans Parish including the Jefferson SPCA and LA-SPCA for our Annual Rabies Vaccination Drive! The drive is usually held in the Spring on or around Palm Sunday. The specific date(s) are determined early each year and posted here and on our partners websites. Locations for the clinics are determined each year and may change from year-to-year. They will also be posted with date and time information.

The low cost license tags for a dog or cat rabies vaccination are CASH ONLY. Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers or on leashes. The rabies vaccination drive is made possible by the Jefferson SPCA, Louisiana SPCA, Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association, and the City of New Orleans Fire Dept.
